A New Resident of the Mishkan

It's a boy, no name yet. He came from the SPCA, not at all what I imagined (girl cat, long hair, pretty), but very friendly, followed me around the whole place. So far, apparently if I sleep on the sofa, he sits on me and stands guard. He's definitely not a magickal cat, but is very sweet and hardly cat-like at all.

Aw, he's adorable. I love his coloring and he definitely doesn't have the scary eyes.

What a nice cat. Good job!

He looks cute. And not at all like he is plotting to kill you in your sleep. Merely like he is wondering whether you have tuna in that box with a flash.

He is beautiful, and has a very thoughtful expression. But, I have to ask, why is it that whenever somebody likes a cat they say that he or she is "not catlike at all"?

He looks like he has a lot of personality to offer! Congrats.

Yeah, you're right, cats get a bad rap. He is very catlike. Plenty of cats are friendly, as I saw there.

But he does act like a cat, gets into everything. Doesn't know he's not a person.

No name yet. I'm not sure a cat really needs one.

But he does have a cold and some intestinal problem. Going to the vet today. And he already ran away, but he comes back.

I have a ready supply of dog names but no cat names at all. And heck, yes, he needs one.

He sounds a lot like my boy cats, and I wouldn't trade them for any girly new-age cat for anything. When they follow you around the house all day just to be close to you and watch you, and you don't even realise that they are there, it is so special.
